ROTARY CENTENNIAL

In 2026, Fremont Rotary Club will celebrate a century of service. To recognize this significant milestone, we are embarking on a bold campaign to raise $500,000 in support of renovations for the Rotary Lodge at River Cliff Park and the development of a new urban park and amphitheater in downtown Fremont. Upon completion of our successful fundraising effort, Fremont Rotary will award each project $250,000.

ROTARY LODGE

RIVER CLIFF

River Cliff Park is operated by the Sandusky County Park District as a public park open every day of the year. The natural features and scenic Sandusky River are popular destinations for anglers and other outdoor enthusiasts such as bird watchers, kayakers, and hikers. Once a nine-hole golf course, the park also overlooks the well-known Blue Banks and has been restored to natural habitats with stone hiking trails.

DOWNTOWN FREMONT

AMPHITHEATER

For many years, Fremont has discussed the opportunities that a downtown amphitheater will provide for local shops and restaurants. With the city’s acquisition and removal of the Jackson Annex, the green space created offers an excellent opportunity to move forward with the creation of a vibrant outdoor entertainment space. With the recent growth of downtown Fremont, the amphitheater is a perfect complement. It will provide many opportunities to attract families from Fremont and surrounding communities to discover what Fremont has to offer.
